Inspired by African traditional practices of using jewelry as a form of art, adornment and clothing, we handcraft wearable art that expresses the diversity of African accessories and looks, to overcome the aesthetic cultural stereotypes. Zuri Perle jewels not only take us on a journey of discovering and experiencing the past, but also opens the door to a new and exciting interpretation of Africa in the here and now.

Zuri Perle was established by Nigerian born designer Atinuke Adeleke, after moving to the United States to be with her husband, she was unable to work due to her visa status and stumbled upon jewelry making as a means to supplement her family income.

She took her first jewelry making class from local artisans in Nigeria  and fell in love with the process of handcrafting wearable artisan pieces. She is an alumni of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) and is currently pursuing her MFA at the University of North Texas.

She initially created the brand to cater to African brides and grooms looking for traditional African jewelry in the United States. She has since expanded the brand to incorporate a balance of her Nigerian traditional aesthetic and western experience, which includes CAD and 3D printing.

Zuri Perle Accessories have graced runways at New York Fashion Week and Kansas City Fashion Week. Our accessories have also been seen in Italiano L'Orafo, Weekly Style Magazine, Fox 4KC, Say Yes to the Dress, CNN Africa, Bead Style Magazine (US) and a couple of local publications in Nigeria.

At Zuri Perle all our pieces are handcrafted in our Studio in Dallas, Texas and our mission is to provide you with African inspired accessories that you will proudly wear for years to come. We strive to exceed our clients' expectations in quality and service and we look forward to serving you.
