It’s amazing how the tiniest details of an outfit can make an impact on the entire look. This is probably why I love to accessorize with statement pieces, I especially love statement necklaces because they unapologetically draw attention :) .
The older I get and the more that I experiment with my fashion choices and looks, the more I realize that you don’t need to have a huge wardrobe in order to sport multiple looks. As someone who loves fashion but doesn’t enjoy having mountains of clothes in my closet, I try to make my closet as versatile as possible.
This weeks look is a casual chic day look that I transitioned into a evening ensemble perfect for drinks with friends on a chilly evening. I was able to achieve both looks by a simple switch up of shoes and accessories.
For my day look, I chose to wear a simple Statement necklace and my white gold earrings I got years ago from my mum. The necklace adds an interesting detail to the plain neckline of my sweat shirt and ties in the dark and light tones from my pajama pants.
I always go with simple or small earrings when wearing a statement necklace.

For the evening look, I opted for a larger, more striking piece of jewelry. I swapped my comfy sneakers for some heels and I was ready for a night of drinking with friends.

I love both looks and the ease and comfort of leaving home, with only jewelry and a pair of heels to achieve a second look, is great.
