Hi Zuri's! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Its my 8th week of home schooling, Lord help me! I didn't think we would make it this far. LOL. Wearing the Mum and Teacher hat is no joke, kudos to all the Parents keeping it all together.
On the business front, the fashion shows and events we had scheduled for the first quarter of the year, have all been moved to the last quarter of the year. I was really looking forward to sharing our new collection with you but we have to wait and I promise you it will be worth it.
Our latest fine jewelry collection which was to be released weeks before Mothers day should be released in a week or two. I'm bummed that we didn't get it out sooner but so many things got put on hold, thanks to "RONA" . I would love to get your feedback when we release that collection.
While we put the finishing touches to the release of our collections, we have been working behind the scenes to make sure your shopping experience is as seamless as possible. We've also revamped our You Tube channel to provide you; behind the scene access to how we handcraft your beautiful pieces, tips on making handcrafted accessories, behind the scene preparations for all the Fashion/Runway shows we take part in and reviews on some of our newly acquired tools.
Prior to the Covid19 shut down, I worked at the Dallas Makers Space (DMS) a lot. They have most of the equipment that I need and membership is $60 a month which saves me a ton of money (equipment wise) and space to store said equipment. Plus I get to rub minds with other artisans and explore other methods of creating art.
Since the lockdown, DMS has been shut and I no longer have access to their fab machines so I decided to go on a Budgenista shopping spree last week to purchase some less expensive but effective tools that will see me through to a time when things get back to some semblance of normalcy.
My first tool review is on the 6 inch buffer from harbor freight, check it out below. If you like the review please subscribe and join our Zuri (beautiful) family.
Virtual hugs.
