Description
"IYUN" in Yoruba language means "Coral". Inspired by the grooved brain coral (Diploria labyrinthiformis) Each structure is a colony of several genetically identical animals living together. These polyps are so connected to one another, that if one gets sick the entire colony can get sick. Sometimes we feel alone, in a bubble disconnected from the world, my hope is that the pieces in the IYUN collection always serve as a reminder that even when we do not see it or feel it, we are connected to nature, people and the world around us.
