Hi Zuri's, thanks for stopping by :) With my back to back trips to Jamaica and DC in February, March seems to be of to a slow start. However, I do have some exciting news to share, come this fall I will be going back to school to further my education in the jewelry design field.
"A valuable woman is always increasing her worth" and I'm super excited to be doing just that. Both my boys are in elementary school now, with the youngest starting full days in August and I feel its the perfect time to get back on the horse and pursue my vision full throttle.
I recently concluded the GP program with the Gemological Institute of America in January. Finishing that program was the proof I needed that I could walk the line of entrepreneur/student/mum/wife and not crash, LOL.
Not having family close by to help has always been a challenge for me, family support is everything when raising kids, but having a supportive husband is a huge blessing. We always find a way to make it work.

Anyways I digress, todays post is about a collaboration with another mompreneur who is pursuing her passion for the beauty industry full throttle and has acquired the education to back her dreams.
Laomiz beauty is a Makeup artist and esthetician based in Owings Mills Maryland, she is also a novalash and microblading artist and a beauty educator.
She is my go to person whenever I am in Maryland and I need a face beat for an event, so it was a no brainer that we would collaborate on this shoot.
I love the subtle looks she created and the way she played with the colors of the "ODUN" necklace. Both looks would be great for a white wedding or traditional wedding
