My favorite season is here which means it’s time to slowly tuck away my breezy, light weight pieces and transition into heavier (and not to mention more comfortable ) pieces of clothing.
Fall is my favorite season because of the beautiful colors that come along with it and also because I get to add more layers of clothing and experiment more, fashion-wise. Fun times!!
The spectrum of colors displayed by Mother Nature is second to none. That girl sure knows her colors, LOL, so I've decided this year to let her have a huge say in the colors of my fall outfits.
This picture is from one of the local farmers market close to us, aren't the colors amazing! Greens, rust, orange, red, yellow are great fall colors in clothes and jewelry.
D & D Produce, one of the few places I get my supply of locally grown fruits and vegetables.
For my first fall outfit, I opted for this tangerine sweater ,similar to the color of the darker pumpkins in the picture above. I paired it with my high waist button up polka dot skirt, black knee length boots (finally found a pair that fit, story for another day) and the YINYIN necklace from our IRIS collection.

I'm still working on my 6pack abs LOL but in the mean time, the paper bag high waist trend is a great way to hide any excess weight I might gain around my midsection when it starts getting colder (wink) .

For my second look, I'm wearing the same tangerine sweater but I opted to pair it with a body con dress this time. This look allows me to wear one of my favorite summer pieces even when the weather doesn’t really call for it. Of course, this look wouldn’t be complete without my newly acquired knee high boots and YINYIN Necklace.

Two different outfits and all I did was swap my skirt for a dress. Fall is going to be so much fun.
